Burnham week.
      #1881573 - 03/06/2008 20:26

Anyone doing Burnham week this year? The online entry system is up and I have entered class 6 (no spinnakers) for the full week. If anyone hasn't done it before I have a free entry code for them.

Brian

I think FC is planning to do one of the weekends, but is putting his main effort into Ramsgate week this year.... there are usually 3 or 4 forumite boats involved..... i'm sure they'll be along soon enough!

Hi Brian. I see you didnt win the latest RSA cup, is that because I wasnt aboard?

I confirm that Full Circle is doing the first weekend and the Bank Holiday Monday of Burnham week. Class 6 of course.

We are doing Ramsgate Week for a change, and have a star studded crew list. First Ramsgate Week I have done since 1994 I think. No, I tell a lie, I did one race after helping deliver the Impala Trudi in 2002.

Your absence was probably one reason. The rac committee changing my handicap after the first race was also a minor contributory factor.

Good to see you back as fullcircle and with a dry boat! I am busy making a bilge pump out of a windscreen washer pump to get at a cupfull of water that comes in every time it rains heavily.

Traigh will be doing the weekends again this year, but crew want to play spinnakers, so going for Class 5.

At least that will give the rest of you a chance.
Dan

Planning to enter Summer Solstice in class 6 for the Sat, Sun & Monday.

This is our first time so if a free entry is on offer I would be
only too pleased to receive it...

Michael

Mulling it over but new baby in July probably means swmbo won't want to decamp to essex for the BH weekend like last year. Any body want crew, happy to contribute booze food etc?

We have now completed our entry, for the Bank Holiday Weekend.

Anyone who would like to enter, please let me know, as I also have a discounted (free!) entry for another boat.

Free? Really? If I can get crew, I would be rather tempted.

Standby while I see if I can get a race-fit crew.
