It's the Ensign of the Royal Welsh YC and is the design approved by the Admiralty for them. The Fleur-de-Lis is, of course, the Prince of Wales Feathers and is the club emblem. We are based at Caernarfon (in the medieval Porth Yr Aur town gate). It's a very friendly club (that's why I joined) if you are in the area, drop by.

It's great fun to fly as I have an old grp boat & that winds up the nouveau riche toffee-noses; plus the fact that I use a blue at all winds up the jealous anti-snobs!

Probably a trick of the camera but it looks for all the world as though the Union Flag has been sewn on upside down?
