It's not ideal, but a GOOGLE search in the form
site:ybw.com "Loc: xxxxx"
will yield a starting selection. People list their location in various formats so you need to play but at least a starting point.

Does that formula actually search the memberlist or just the YBW site generally (i.e all the site)?

It will search all posts for several months back on the forums available to the public (Lounge is excluded from Google). It can't search on user lists, as that is not accesible to Google
