Just returned from a few weeks on the North Brittany Coast and quite frankly have lost count of the number of boats, usually travelling between Brittany and the Channel Islands, who had been fouled by netteing or line. One boat was fouled on both the inward and outward passage.
I can honestly say that each person I spoke to was thoroughly shaken by the experience.
Considering the miles we travelled, I think we were lucky. We have got a rope cutter fitted so I would like to think this helped.
