Hi, not sure if this is doable, and of course it relies on the weather, but are the Fireworks at the end of Cowes Week watchable from the Solent? I assume so, and that's a daft question, but if the weather is good why don't we get a bunch of folks together for a few drinks and grub and anchor up close by?
Or is this just madness because it'll already be packed? I thought it might be a bit of fun! My 7 Year old would love it.

They do, there are hundreds of boats out there - and bedlam when it ends.

Not sure what time they start, So, we are coming from Hamble Point, not too far away. If the weather is good (haha) then we'll get over to a spot either left or right of the Cowes entrance. Let me do a bit of research about where the actual display is set off from..anyone know? Then I can look at tides and see what might be best.
