A sad Day Yesterday!
      #1920373 - 07/07/2008 08:33

A few people know so sorry if this bores them, but yesterday a very nice man and his SWMBO, have bought our boat!
Pipedream, our winter project, finally looking how she should and now gone!

Had loads of fun on her, and upon waking Sunday morning I said to my SWMBO, what was your your most memorable moment on Pipedream? I got quite sad at the thought of being 'Boatless From Beds'.............Paul, the new owner appeared full of beans, for a quick talk through, and when we finally left I could have 'Blubbed'!

Anyway, not to end on a downer note, we have sorted a replacement already, and in a couple of weeks our next Targa will be in the Solent!

Cant wait, and look forward to having another winter project!

On Saturday night aboard the good ship 'Huston', my beloved Mags spouted our new Targa's new name...............

She is to be called 'Hard rock'!
What do you recon?

Jas.

Nice name for a ski boat!

Classy boat needs a classy name.

Still, wot do I know?

Starting to get worried... I rubbed my eyes this morning and saw nothing but Bloo dots. Does this mean something?

How much does a Targa 48 weigh and is it close to 16t?

Mike you know the answer to that!

Just dont ask O.k.!
Jas.

Mike, will a 310 sized centre console rib fit in the garage? I like the look of those Quicksilver Rhino riders! Long shaft motors though, just wondering if anyone may know the answer?

Jas.

Hi Jason
I think it's a really cool name and as I was there at the 'birth' I love it.
It is just so approriate for a number of reasons. Well done Mags.

Hi Jason

Well done mate, you've done well to have such an easy and quick change. Lots of fun to come on the T48! Congrats.

Cheers
Jimmy

Amazing isn't it, red diesel is all but gone, and boats are still being bought and sold. Who'd have thought it?

I'm pretty sure a 3.1m rib with outboard won't fit a Targa 48, but you may just squeeze a J-craft in.
