A fellow club member has had the misfortune to have one of his cap shrouds and attached spreader stolen, weird I know, but some local lowlives broke in to the rigging workshop at the yard and nicked all the stainless they could find which included his bits.
New shroud no problem, but the rigger has failed so far to find a spreader to match on a 30 odd year old Dufour. Edit, should have said Dufour 2800.
Anyone have any ideas where he might be able to get one?

Indeed, the most likely source. However, not as simple as it seems. Over the years, the Dufour 2800 used at least three different mast manufacturers that I know of.

As you appear to be in Suffolk, I would toddle over to Z Spars at Hadleigh with the remaining spreader - if it's not a Z spars rig, I am pretty sure they will identfy the make..
