Cut Nylon Sheet suppliers?
      #1915693 - 03/07/2008 12:13

I've been let down by a "mate of a mate", as it were, and I'm looking for a supplier of something like 6 cut pieces of Nylon sheet, about 18" by 1.5" by 5mm as chain chafing strips around the forefoot of my boat. Can anyone suggest companies which could help? I'm quite happy to cut the stuff up myself, only I don't need that much of it and don't want a whole 2 square metre sheet.

TIA.

Now that's a great Idea! Fantastic! There may even be some at my local tip thrown away. Nice one!

Actually, this is a good source as well. Ta. I'll contact them for a quote. Then all I have to do is screw it to the hull.

They're more likely to be Polyethylene than Nylon. But that might be more suitable - less water absorbent.
