Jeff Healey was probably the greatest Blues Guitarist Canada has ever produced. I am truly shocked at hearing of this....
When I was working in Calgary the small local weekly paper which I was picture editor of at the time Brought him in for a show at a very small venue in the University of Calgary. He had only that week launched his "See the Light " album and tour...... it was in front of about 200 of us and he was unbelievable.
His cover of "While My guitar gently weeps" is imho better than the original.
A great man, very sad.
