Anyone else joined the river user group/forum at www.riverusergroup.com ? Are there any particular views on this as a reasonable group to exert pressure on the powers that be? There only seem to be 8 members at present.
From what I understand this is an attempt to revitalise the group which went through a dormant phase.

They are not exactly "slick" at updating the site with results of meetings either - that would be a start so that we could see what is happening at meetings?

I've got a feeling they aren't part of the RUG group originally set up by the ATYC. I think there is a RUG for the tidal Thames within that group, but not had time to research it properly.

Have you seen the upriver group info? www.riverusergroups.co.uk/ All of the RUG Secretaries/Chairs have access to update the info on their meetings themselves so it's usually current. You can see agendas and notes of meetings, info from EA and there's a section for ATYC. No forums though.
