Getting cushions recovered etc and foam is fire retardant. For Thames Boat Safety, does anyone know whether they look at the fire retardedness of the fabrics/foams etc? ie do we need anything official for this or just use our common sense?

While I'm sure cushions soaked in petrol would be allowed, you'd better make sure you cut plenty of holes nice and low down in the hull for ventilation purposes, they do like to see plenty of ventilation on boats you know.
