After My trip up to Byrons I raised a number of issues with the EA.
1. They have confirmed that the Out of Hours electrics problem at Marsh was not my imagination and it has been fixed
2. They have now included info on the Visit Thames website re how to register for email notices of closures etc HERE

looks like a good resource, but unforunately the very first thing i saw was "The Lock Maintenance Programme Winter 2007/08 has just been published."
How much confidence does that fill me with? Well none. a 12 yo could maintain a site better than that.
What were the salaries for the communications/press officer type jobs again...?

re-reading my post; I over-reacted a bit, (lead with the chin, me), just that that's one of my "things"
It really is a very good website.
