Pipe
      #1841926 - 29/04/2008 21:42

I am looking for a piece of flexible pipe 16mm inside diameter. It must be reasonably strong as it is to attempt to repair the wand on my pressure washer. It will be held onto the two parts of wand by jubilee clips, and the two ends of the broken wand will butt up as close to each other as possible. So 6" of strong 16mm inside diameter tube anybody?

Have you considered a replacement nozzle such as Pressure Washer Gun, Nozzle, & Hose Kit at £35?

Car heater hose comes in 16mm ID and is rated at 10bar. I don't know what pressure rating you need but this would be cheap and worth a try. An engineering supply company selling hydraulic hose would probably have something even higher rated than that.

Thank you gentlemen.
DinghyMan - it is a very cheap pressure washer and only cost me £25 new so £35 for a fix is a bit much - I could get another new one for less than that.
MoodySabre - Sounds like a viable idea - I'll give it a go.

Don't do it!

The water pressure combined with the pulsing effect of the pump will blow it off, and leak all the time in the process.

A new hose/ wand is the only answer. The slightest leak has a dire effect on pressure too.

Try Ebay, there are usually some there!
