What does AWB, MAB etc stand for please?

AWB= Average white boat. ie. Typical European cruiser (particularly of French/German origin).
MAB= Manky auld boat. Self explanatory really.

AWB = Average White Boat ie Modern Production Cruiser
MAB = Manky Auld Boat ie older smelly cramped heavier craft

awb means "average whhite boat" occassionally derogatory term for newer fatter designs of boats

mab measn "manky auld boat" meaning older slimmer probably long or longer keeled boat

AWB = Average White Boat e.g Beneteau, Jeanneau, Bavaria
MAB = Manky auld Boat e.g 1972 Twister or Tradewind 35 etc
SWMBO = She Who Must Be Obeyed
HWMBO = obviously means He Who Must Be Obeyed
LOL = Lots of Laughs (I think)
AFAIK = As Far As I Know
IMHO = In My Humble Opinion
PRAT = specific description of the forumite WeeJimi

AWB = Average white boat (or BenJenBav)
MAB = Manky Auld boat (or "classic") possibly coined by WeeJimi, Patron Saint of AWB's and rudder stock

a few additions/amendments

HWMO he who must obey
KIM he who must be obeyed
