Just try to stay calm at the start, and don't distract the helm with a bacon sandwich 2 minutes before the gun!

If you see a bearded surfer with a red sail tracking the RTIR, it's a friend who is going round the course at the same time to try and beat some of the leadmines ! He has promised to obey Colregs (as amended by Race Instructions and/or QHM NTM.)
