RS 232 NAV 6 Navtex
      #1912626 - 30/06/2008 17:05

I have a Nav6 Navtex. Among the features is a recorded log of the trip. This can be down loaded vis RS232 serial connection. I have done this in the days of 9 pin canon D connectors.

It is possible to connect the two wires from the device to a newish laptop with USB sockets easily?

I just want to collect the details from the nav6 on the laptop. SWMBO would like a solution that works first time and stops me from being a grumpy old sod !!

Thanks in anticipation

Mike
