the Moonflete Sailing thread now has 171 replies, and possibly more to come. Is this a record for Scuttlebut? Is it a record for YBW forums?

Dont know if it is, but it is really boring listening to other peoples moans, why dont they just except it wasent a great experience for them and just be more weary in the future, probably some of the other folk had a marvelous time, because they dident just go for the food and quality gear, but the sailing as well.

You'd have to go over a thousand to get in the top 10 from memory.
Records have been compiled a few times, but too many threads and years of posting to compile now unless you work for ybw and have access to database.

I think it might have been Morgana's "let's give Webcraft a thousand-reply post before he goes sailing" thread from a couple of years back.

No idea. But on liveaboard something like this would be my best shot for a record: "Being quite new to sailing I plan to cross Biscay in Novemeber, only time I can get off work, is this a bad time? Would a RYA course turn me into a proper sailor? And what's the best anchor to get for spain? Also, I've heard Biscay can be bad for Pirates, should I get a gun?"
What would your ultimate hackle raising post be?
