I poked my head out into the Solent today, having left my berth at 1110hrs. looked West and then headed South instead, through Langstone gap and then over to Bembridge, round to just west of Ryde Pier, then across to Stokes Bay, round Gilkicker, and a fantastic run down to the transit at Portsmouth. Went up to Gosport Marina for fuel, 79 litres, £63.13p!!!! That was 81.1p a litre!! If I had told Porkies and said I was a berth holder at Prem Marina it would have been 75p a litre!!!! Tied up on my berth at Haslar at 1640hrs!! Great day sail, sun, sea, and oh yeah!! I was recked in Landers Last night on Mountgay, so I'm gonna include Sea Sickness in that three 'S' Statement also!!!!
