now that I have my boat set up nicely and rarin to go.......
      11/05/2008 22:28

we was motorsailing along in absolute calm today when my crew looks up and says "oh you'll have to repair that flapping sail" - I look aloft to see to my disgust that a foot square section of the UV strip on the genny has come loose. and indeed half of that amount has taken flight!
boats !! You're never finished with them!
any suggestions where i could find a 2 foot square patch of blue uv strip quickly ?

I propose to (sloowly) hand sew this. Is is normally stuck with adhesive as well as sown?
Alternatively could anyone educate me a little about a foam luff I come across on this forum but of which i have no knowledge ?
Thanks from an exasperated wannabe skipper...
