Hi Michael,. The MD7 has a bleed screw on the injector pump body which clears the pump while you work the fuel lift pump, you then have to crack both injector pipes at the injectors while the engine is turning over on the starter to get the thing to run. Use the decompression lever until fuel is pumping bubble free then tighten while it's still cranking to keep the pressure up. they aren't easy things to bleed. I usually work through each union in the fuel system. Easier if you have gravity feed, but I also put a rubber bulb from an outboard fuel tank on mine to make it easier to pressurise the system for bleeding.

Hi you replied to one of my posts about an overheating md6. Im writing to you as you have the md7a. I was wondering how you bleed your fuel system. I have a bleed screw on the fuel filter but I dont think there are any other bleed points.
