At what age to retire, bis

For all those of advancing years planning to live on a sailboat, it is worth reading "Shapes on the Wind" by New Zealander David Lewis. He sailed adventuresomely - and with various lady friends in ones and twos - into his seventies and eighties with failing eyesight, a hearing aid, a repaired hip, rheumatism and various other lifegiven challenges. He said the biggest problem is other people who think "you should not be doing that at your age" (including having orgasms) In a forward, the late Sir Peter Blake warned readers to be careful since it would change their life.

The message? Just get on with it!
