Re: which way round to circumnavigate UK?

Actually I think clockwise is best in both SW's and NE's!!
The idea being that you will have land to weather and flatter water when on the wind,
and an onshore wind when broad reaching.
With NW's and SE's anticlockwise might be better.
Of course wthe wind is unlikely to remain from the same direction for the whole trip.
