Hi JAMES, you have my sympathy bout ugrib, It would not install very easily on windows millenium on my old Compaq Armada 770. It was a doddle to install on my daughter's more recent Dell on xp service pack 11.
I had some hair tearing as well as the time and date need to be correct on the computer, and mine was one day off! It took ages to discover this and i had to get a hint from the grib forum and then i posted the solution for others there. It is really valuable for the overall picture, and as one source amongst others, and will help when considered in conjunction with other sources.Is Northwood still doing Short wave analysis or has this stopped by now. Hope not, it was really useful in the Atlantic.How is San Carlos treating you?
