I think the PassageWeather site uses the same information, so I will prefer to stick with that when I have internet access.

Yes thankyou for pointing me to Sant Carles, it is the ideal solution for us as the weather is good enough in the winter to spend time there in comfort.

Had we managed to get a place in Gruissan it would not really have suited us, as the Tramontane seems to blow about half the time which is not what we need at our advanced age.

We are very pleased with the new marina, although it is not finished yet, they have a great bunch of people working there who are a mix of British and Spanish and all very helpful and friendly. There is a choice between taking a 28 year lease (although probably not many of these left), a four year contract paid up front or an annual berth for a competitive price.

The only problem is that grey water can not be discharged into the harbour, so for now we will put containers under the sink drains and empty them. Then organise something more permanent later. I expect this will become a requirement for all new concessions.
