Spraying varnish?

I am very short of time to get some layers of varnish on my boat in time for racing at the weekend. I have all the necessary spray equipment and a tin of Epifanes, so am wondering if I should try this "5 coats in a day" concept. I knew a boatbuilder years ago that swore by brushing three coats on straight after each other (as soon as the previous coat had gone-off enough to hold a finger print), so I can belive it works, but am not sure about the addition of "Japan Drier" which I have also read should not be added in large quantities (the 5 coat concept talks about 30%). I could really do with getting this turned around in a day, so any thoughts would be appreciated. By the way, I already have 2 coats of Eposeal epoxy primer on, so just need to build up the finish.
