No real reason, just being nosey, unless you're doing a business course, in which case you could do a feasibility study on the potential success of starting a sailing club/school - some unis offer funding for ideas that would work well in the area, and if you put together a good enough argument for it, they would probably have some good resources for it - you could get the engineering department to knock up a couple of dinghies cheap, then get the business marketing students to put together a quick ad strategy
