I mean a bit of both really..... I agree with what you are showing - works fine. My problem is when looking into Scuttlebutt, for example, at lunchtime there may be 20 threads each with a dozen or so new posts. I may have time to read through half a dozen of the threads, but not the other 14. When I look in the evening, the server doesn't take this into account, i.e. it thinks I read all 20 threads and all the posts. What would be really good is if the server was able to remember which threads I had read, and then leave the other 14 showing unread posts when I look back in at a later time, on top of any other new posts/threads in the meantime.
