I am very concious of the fact that money makes the world go around. However! I would suggest to you that the banners more than pay for this section of the site. If you need a few more bob add an ASK JEEVES search option too (mine earns me over a tenner a day)
Re-reading the above it sounds brusque, it isn't meant that way :)
As you know local newspapers often have a section where you can advertise stuff for less than say £50.
I mean if I have half a dozen fenders at £1 each I don't want to pay £10 to advertise them. A perfect example is two seats I have for sale at a few quid each. It just isn't worth my while advertising them, but I bet someone out there would kill for them as they are Broom ones that look good in any boat's saloon.
