My wife was very fond of our previous boat. She had given her a special nickname, decorated with fresh flowers etc.
I remember when we sold her (the boat) and as she was driven away by the new owners, SWMBO cried. I felt the same way, ofcourse, but rather than seeing the old boat going I saw the new boat arriving
