Last December just minutes before our new to us boat was about to be re-launched in Plymouth, WMP guy told us it would be a good idea to fit shaft anodes cos he's seen some pitting on the shafts. So I rushed down to Mountbatten chandlery and almost fainted when charged about Ł150 for the 2 x 1.75" anodes. Checked later and they all seemed to be pretty expensive there.

wandered into my local chandlers in Exmouth today and happened to tell him about these expensive anodes, he checked his prices and i now have 4 of the same on order for just over 20 quid each!! MG Duff, no difference except about 1/3 of the price. I hate being ripped off. That's the last time the plymouth chandlery will have any of my money. And Jerry at Dixons in Exmouth will get even more of our dosh. Nice guy and always more than fair with his prices.
