I don't know much about planing or semi displacement boats, but it seems to me that with 630hp available, 25 knots seems a bit on the slow side?.......Don't get me wrong 25 knots is a respectable speed, just thought there would be more with that kind of power. Still I suppose that at 11 metres, she is quite chunky, do like the looks of her though.

I have always lusted after the likes of Grand Banks, and Nordhavn, lovely seagoing ships to my eyes, and I suppose more to my inclination. At my age I haven't a huge interest in blasting around the ocean, a more sedate pace would suit me just fine

It's probably because I enjoy the journey, more than the getting there?
