Why not adress the problem from the other direction: - Hose too small = diverter valve too big; I'm assuming that the hose stub on it is ribbed? In which case, in addition to stretching/lubricating/heating the hose, file down the ribs on the diverter valve - this worked for me when I'd the same problemfitting an inaccessible holding tank hose |
