Re: EVC fault - shift actuator


Common fault on D series, your actuator is jiggered, prob jammed in one or other position, I have had three on one boat with D6's. If you are handy enough swop them over just to confirm, will be a warranty job.

Trim issue could be that stick or sticks could be slightly engaged, easy to do if they are anywhere near to you as you lean over dash or such, trim will not work if gear lever is even partially engaged when engines are not running, check the key lock button, if when you turn the ignition on and push key button they will flash if sticks are not in neutral.
