A rare picture of Llandwyn island when it is actually surrounded by water. For those not familiar with the area, the East side of Llandwyn is a popular anchorage. Pilot's cove itself is suitable for shallow drafts only. It is popular with bathers, so on hot sunny days the socially aware anchor outside. Mermaid's cove is a favourite of mine, but one has to mind the submerged rock - see picture.
