Sorry, couldn't resist. They might LOOK like oars, but I think you'll find real ones are made of spruce, have a coat of varnish and a bit of leather tacked on.
The dinghy itself, however, is an absolute cracker. You've obviously put a lot of work into it. Don't take any notice of anyone who takes the p1ss out of your toy inflatable paddles.
