parcels abroad

Has anyone experience of sending stuff from the UK to Greece by parcel delivery companies? I have looked on the web but can't see to find anything suitable. If anybody can reccommend a company I would be grateful. Cheers!

Re: parcels abroad

I have a FedEx account but it can be expensive - however not as expensive as flying out there with the package yourself!

5kg costs around £53

Re: parcels abroad

For mainland Greece UPS was hard to beat a few years ago. Never tried the islands. Various speeds of delivery offered at various prices but all very expensive! However, they were very reliable in respect of delivery times and lack of damage. It is much better if you set up an account in advance but you can just telephone for a collection on a "one off" basis. I suspect that "one off" costs even more.

Re: parcels abroad

We use these guys,
http://www.interparcel.com/

they were cheaper than the contract rate we have, and basically sub contract to a major carrier, so the parcel is in DHL or Fed Ex hands and can be tracked, but you pay less than you would if you went to them direct.

We've had very good service from them.
