Meeting the needs of the motorboater

Given that the RYA recognises that some 4 out of 5 new boat buyers buy motor boats rather than sailing boats, and given that the RYA acknowledges the need to attract and support new entrants into the leisure boating field, why does the RYA appear to recognise only 2 categories of motor boating, namely "Motor Cruising" and "Powerboat Racing", and to pay negligible attention to the needs of all other categories of motorboating? Re: Meeting the needs of the motorboater

It's all a question of nomenclature.

We work with and for the owners of RIBS, sportsboats, jetskis (PWCs), canal boats, river boats, powerboat racers, displacement and planing motor cruisers....

The problem is that we can't fit this preamble into every article or title that we write.
