Just wondering......
|
|
........are we doing the Wareham/Poole thing this year. Poole would probably be better so more raggies could attend. Although Wareham has the benefit of mooring right outside the pub/resturant. What do people think. Late this month, early next month?

DIdn't we already work out rough dates some while back? - Duncan pointed out when cruise ships stopped going to Wareham etc etc

I know when the trip boats stop running and thata rough date was worked round that. But thats not much good if you go some the last w/e in sept and the rest go the first w/e in octoberm, is it. So what was decided on then?

Also good to loose the Poole harbour limit - gives people more incentive to trail down if they know they can go for a decent run in the harbour whatever the weather - Happy/Sandra etc

According to Duncan it was ""Got to be the first weekend of neapish tides following the ceasation of the commercial cruise ships - 'bout 2 weeks earlier than last year I make that? ""

Re: Just wondering......

would that be the weekend you are heading to Chrerbourg or the following one that I am on?
If it's October then 4/5 and 18/19 are the weekends I am likely to be in Poole but others will probably find either end of the holiday week more appropriate.

4/5 would suit, both for me, re work and Family re their "things". The limit will be dropped, or raised whichever way you look at it, and hopefully there'll be plenty of accomodation and my launch site is still in operation.
