On the 31st of July I will (with a few friends) be attempting to punt from Oxford to Cambrige to raise money for Macmillan cancer relief. Unfortunatly we have a problem when we reach Braunston tunnel which is closed to unpowerd boats. Does anyone have a boat near Braunston tunnel which would be able to tow us through the tunnel and also insured to tow us through. The punt is insured to be towed but this might not cover the boat doing the towing. British Waterways need us to arrange a tow in advance for the tunnel. We expect to arrive at the tunnel between the 2nd and 4th of August.
