Temporary Notice to Mariners
No. 01/08 Lock Shutdown
14th Feb 2008
From Thursday 21st Feb 2008 until Thursday 28th Feb 2008 inclusive, the Lock at Portishead Quays Marina will be closed to all traffic.
This is to facilitate routine maintenance on the Lock gates, and will prevent all access for vessels in and out of the Marina for this period.
Vessels are requested to make alternative arrangements.

You could run your hovercraft up the Avon, and use the Portway into the city centre
