I think a big spring tide may reach those shutters. It's also worth knowing that if you mess up the time getting to Portishead and the tide turns, you can punch it very close to shore around Battery Point (Portishead Point) and then along by these houses, where the current is a little less. (NB This tip is not to be used for navigation purposes! There are some rocks to avoid )
