Bronze keelband

I am fitting the above to the bottom of my two clinker dinghies. Do I need to antifoul or can I leave them bare?

Antifoul them. Barnacles and "thingies" love metal! apart from pure copper!

Depends.
Do you intend to keep them afloat? If you're going to be launching - sailing - recovering; then I wouldn't bother, a quick hose down and a scrub will probably suffice.

If you're sailing them on a lake best check your local by-laws. You wouldn't want to pollute a reservoir with toxic heavy metals would you?

Mariposa I will be keeping them on full tide moorings at Burnham on Crouch which I am told is a high foul area.
