Email alerts all mucked up

A few days ago I posted a thread in the lounge about my email alerts that had stopped (wrong forum, really). Anyway, Bernard kindly picked up on it and said he'd report it to support which presumably he did because some hours later my alerts started again................
but now I'm getting two alerts for every message!
Better two than none, but if it would be possible to put it right in due course, I would appreciate it, thanks.

I replied to this in another thread which I cannot now find but the sys admin team have come back to me and said there was a problem with the mail server which is not fixed. Please let me know if you're still having the same problem.

Hello Dan, after the first contact, they re-started my emails but I now get two email alerts for each posting. It is live-with-able so please don't hold anyone back from making the stuffing, but if they could put it back to normal it would be appreciated! Thanks for checking back with me
