Greenwich replacement

When GMIV deservedly is returned to her rightful home afloat there will be a big hole in Greenwich that will need filling.

Does anyone have any suggestions what could be put in it?

nb no references to other wastes of space in Greenwich please!

The last thing to go there is another boat!

I appreciate the importance of that one, but what a waste, sitting there rotting at a huge cost. By all means let the punters see it and visit, but any boat should be in its own environment.

Why not a statue? In addition to this gent there are a number of others (many his contemporaries) who have done much to inspire us, and they could point us across the road back to the maritime museum.

This is a great and historic site, and not to be wasted a a mausoleum (whether for craft or dubious politicos!)
