Went out on my mates Targa 34 on saturday all tooled up with rods and bait and more tackle than you could shake a poohy stick at. We left a very becalmed marina about 11.30 Look how narrow the chanel is this year. Amaisingly flat but very poor visability to begin with We went out to the causway boy about 5 miles off and it was a real smooth ride not that the Targa needs one, but it saves on fuel. When we got there i I think this guy got all the fish. Many hours and a few beers later our grand total was two dog fish and this Polock, plenty of seals around might have something to do with it. So that two more crap fishermenin North Wales then. Went over to St Tuds but nothing there either. Stll it cleared up for another wakeshot on the way back to the Pub. Try again next week I suppose. When I first got my boat, I sent a mail around my family and friends with a picture of a mackerel followed by the same mackerel on a plate and a complete costing break down on how much the dish cost. In fact, here they are.

I think it was just short of £25,000 But, a few weeks later I ate another one, so the cost was halved. Family said that Waitrose would be cheaper. |

yes we worked this fish out to about a grand without the cost of the boat and marina berth Still its still the best way to get rid of that money stuff and less than we give that gray scottish git and his bum chum |
