True. My guess would be if you called them they would be happy to do a red one for you. I have found them very helpful in the past - one day turnaround. ![]() No connection etc. |

Good stuff. Oddly they list 2 different widths for the same length. Sewn 183x91cm / 72x36in / 2yd Sewn 183x122cm / 72x48in / 6x4ft |

Flags for sticking out of the back of your boat are a different "aspect ratio" than those for sticking up a flagpole - they fly ahem; perhaps "wear" better in the former? I don't really, really know; that's my take on it. If MrFlag can't help in a hurry, perhaps the Ensign Flag Co. could help? |

" Magnum, don't worry about booking the ship, I'll run her around to the Med for you, I'm getting quite good at these longer trips now? |

So what size do you think is right for a 72? Here are the choices. Sewn 137x69cm / 54x27in / 1.5yd Sewn 183x91cm / 72x36in / 2yd Sewn 183x122cm / 72x48in / 6x4ft Sewn 229x114cm / 90x45in / 2.5yd Sewn 270x137cm / 108x54in / 3yd Sewn 366x183cm / 144x72in / 4yd Sewn 457x229cm / 180x90in / 5yd I quite fancy the 2.5yd. |

Get the biggest you think you need and go up a size. till the lowerst part of the flag is an inch above the water when moored. Works for me. I hate the french and dutch always having bigger ensigns than our modest lot. |

|||||||

If its too small it will look sillly obvioulsy, but if it is too big it will make your boat look smaller. |

Bloody hell, It'll have to be the size of an articulated lorry to make a Predator 72 look small! Magnum..................'Go Large My Man'! ![]() Jas. |

Can you try different sizes on the back with a photo shop image to see what'll look right? |

Quote: Always thought that 1 inch of ensign for every foot of boat(length of course). So a 2 yard ensign would be about the right size. Ask Sunseeker if they have any spare flags or ensigns around and try a few out to see what looks the best |
