Anyone know a good corgi man, central London?
|
|
I've got a new cooker to be fitted, plus I'd like a bubble tester.
Competence, reliability and reasonable fees would all be good.
Thanks.

Prince Phillip? :-)
How central? There are liveaboards in South Dock who may know, otherwise I suspect you are back up the river above Teddington.

Central London try Pimilco Plumbers, big outfit but not that cheap but have (I believe) a very good reputation and nice clean blue vans, all with private number plates.....

'Central' means Limehouse.
Is Phil the Greek corgi registered, then....I had no idea he had such wide-ranging talents? Have you got his number (mobile preferably, in case he's out on a job)?
Thanks.

AFAIK mains gas folk won't touch bottled gas and even less if on a boat. Need separate certification.
From ma practical point of view exceedingly daft, but then common sense is nowhere to be seen in these PC days. Comes down to the fact that professional, experienced Engineers (and I mean folk worthy of that name) count for naught nowadays.
I'm sure there'll be hundreds of good reasons why I'm wrong, but having a string of people do a job from end to end is a jolly good way of getting a foul up.

I'm not completely sure you need to be Corgi to do bottled gas anyway, I have a feeling you can DIY.

If the work is to be carried out in a private boat or caravan that will only be used privately then you can do it yourself….
ALL other gas work including bottled gas can only be carried out by a registered person…..
