The one whose lock I tried to ram
In my new boat, without the knack
He shouted 'Pull your throttle back...
For with no lock, I'll get the sack!
But even with his Boating nouse,
The [--word removed--] want to sell his house!
'Pack your things and get your coat'
(Perhaps he'll have to live afloat
down by the Weir in Narrow boat)
But when the brown stuff hits the fan
We'll all be saved by our good man
The water levels, high or low
he'll be there to tend the flow
and keep an eye on where we go
Remember him for he knows best,
despite the EA's latest quest
the desk bound chumps are raising cash
amidst a national housing crash
don't you think thats slightly rash?

I liked Boatone's "Beatle and Wedge" on the Ashmount Rally thread; I guess that was Paul McCartney before the divorce, now he must be the "Potless Beatle"
