So I need to replace them. They were aluminium ones with a hole through them which fits onto a spindle attached to the dinghy. If anyone has a surplus set around I am sure we could come to some arrangement! Even a wooden pair that I could drill a hole through would do! BTW - I may be a bit suspicious if you have some from Weir Quay!

Well, believe it or not, I have a pair that sound like what you are after. 2 piece, 5ft long, with a hole through a plastic sleeve. Sound similar??? Make me an offer to include postage. Just over 1.5kg, so just under £5 postage. And no, I have never been to Wier Quay, though may have a look there this summer. |

Philip, Oars have arrived. When (if) the rain stops I will head down and give them a sea trial but they look to be just the job. Your PM box is also full! Many thanks again, Rob |

Good to know they are in your hands. I'll empty my inbox - thanks. p.s. I've just found that some of the inbox went back to Feb 2003. Shows how often I delete messages!!1 |
