Monitoring progress from ashore

When I leave NZ to sail up to the islands in a couple of days I hope to be able to send a brief email home each day with current long & lat..... is there a website loved ones can go to and tap in my co-ords to easily see our progress on a chart of the S Pac?

Install Google Earth from here and add a pin when your position is found. Used on the Jester challenge and it worked well.

Just warn them not to call the coastguard to ask after you or they'll send out a boat to drag you ashore forcibly!

More seriously, how are you sending emails? I've just got back from a trip where we used Sailmail and it was for the most part pretty successful as an alternative to the cost of running a satphone, plus it allowed us to download grib files as required.
